I'm pretty excited I must admit for today. I already did my exercise, I'm drinkin' my power smoothie and I'm glad that you all are doing this with me. You probably will be getting a few notices today from this blog today, but I promise to try to not annoy you too much. : ) We are going to put something up everyday so be sure to check it out. Today I need you to do 2 things. 1st - let me know what you 10th rule is & 2nd - comment on this post and share with us why you want to be involved in this contest. My 10th rule is to organize my home for 30 minutes 6 days a week. If I do 6 days, I will get a free point for Sunday. The reason I'm in this contest (started this) is because I want to be healthier. I want to lose weight and I want to establish good healthy habits and I feel like this will be a fun way to do it. How about you? I love you all!
My 10th rule is to do my kegel exercises three times a day. The reason I am doing this contest is to help keep me motivated why we are getting ready to move. I am also excited to hear every ones ideas/recipes etc. Lashelle
ReplyDeleteI'm posting this for Emily A. "The goal that I chose is to wash my face every night.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually pretty good about working out but my eating habits aren't that great. Especially since I work in an office all day it will really help to get good habits down and feel healthier even though I am sitting for most of my day. That is why I chose to do this with you guys"! Emily Andersen
My chosen goal is to actually get up when my alarm clock goes off in the morning, rather than just hit the snooze button and go back to sleep. :)
ReplyDeleteI chose to do this because I have a hard time with portion control and actually being constant at being healthy. This will help make it fun, by turning it more into a game. Plus, I need to make the LIFESTYLE change and not just be on a "diet" and stop once it's over. :)
So excited to do this with you guys!!!
My personal goal is to read in the scriptures, write in my journal, and read a few minutes in "Jesus the Christ" every night.
ReplyDeleteI stay on task more with healthy eating when I'm motivated and this competition is definitely motivating for me. We'll all have something to discuss with each other at the reunion, won't we?
I was surprised that my brother, John, didn't sign up for this. Come on John!
I already love the tips and tricks that have been put on this blog and the different blogs you can go into to give you even more info. Thanks for organizing this Laura.
My 10th rule is to read my scriptures every day before reading any other book. The reason I am doing this challenge is to motivate me to make healthy choices. Losing weight and being fit would be wonderful side effects. :)
ReplyDeleteYour enthusiasm is catching! I'm in this contest because even though I kept thinking I could just do it on my own, thinking I was already living healthily, so wouldn't join
ReplyDeletebecause it might restrict me. Then all at once I decided I needed to join. I like the way you care about us enough to set up something like this to do together & I might win! The rules are challenging, which we need, (right?) but the excellent chart and way everything is set up is great.
My #10 rule is to help Lyle weed the garden, in the yard, and in the strawberries down the lane 30 or more minutes a day. Love, Nora
My 10th goal is to read my scriptures daily, especially on those days that are not "routine" days.
ReplyDeleteI am motivated to do this contest because working towards a goal is huge for me with exercise especially. I like to hear what motivates others and I really like just the act of keeping track of the different elements--it makes me feel like I've accomplished something at the end of the day. I also want to set an example of a healthy lifestyle for my kids.
